Crypto Basel was introduced in December 2020 as a Music + Film edition that featured high-level dialogue with thought leaders dealing with the intersection between blockchain, NFTs and art, film and music. Along with Crypto Art Week (October 2020) it was a pioneering effort in the space that explored many of the key topics animating the year in crypto x art.
Crypto Basel was reborn in early 2021 as a widely-followed club that led the way in unifying, promoting and explaining the NFT space on Clubhouse. Lady Phe0nix, founder of cryptomedia company Universe Contemporary, hosted most all of the sessions on Club Crypto Basel and became known as the voice of NFTs, influencing many thousands of individuals looking to understand this nascent space.
In December 2021 Crypto Basel lands at Art Basel Miami Beach in the form of an interactive directory that serves as the definitive map of all things happening around NFTs and crypto art during the week. Crypto Basel will also host a series of high-level VIP encounters and parties in addition to audio conversations with key players in the space that will be livestreamed online across multiple platforms.
